Xbox 360 Elite or PS3?
Well, I have a PS2, PSP, and a Wii. My original plan was to trade in my PS2 + all the games for it, for cash to buy an Xbox 360 Elite. I did some more research about the console and found out it has reliability issues. The 3 major ones I found were:
1) The Red Ring of Death (RROD)
2) Major disk scratching
3) Error "E 74"
I am considering the PS3 now, but I've also heard some bad things about it, such as:
1) Games aren't fun at all, and the games that are coming out won't be fun either.
2) Online service isn't very good.
I am kind of leaning toward the Xbox 360 Elite, but I haven't made up my mind yet.
Should I get the 360 Elite, or the PS3?
Does the Xbox 360 Elite have less chance of getting these errors then the previous versions of the Xbox 360 (Core and Premium)?
I really want an Xbox 360, but i am so worried that I'll get the RROD, or it'll scratch my disks. This would be a disappointment if I did get the 360. Please give me your answers!
Well, the 360 won't scratch your disks as long as you are careful and not move the system while there is a disk inside. And for the RROD, your best bet would be to keep it out in the open and give it good ventilation.
Currently, the PS3 isn't very appealing to many people, if you consider getting one then maybe wait a little while?
