mhfu (monster hunter freedom unite ) help?
Hey,
i've played all MHF games on psp and purchased MHFU 7 months or so ago.
Recently i gave it another shot and have really got stuck into the game play.
However im now stuck at my personal "wall", i never got stuck on other boss monsters but this TIGREX ! is going to be the end of me i have over ten weapons of bows, LS's, GS's, hammers.
any personal help would be appriciated not just youtube links as i have scoured the internet for hours but no vid's help.
N O T E : i am on 4* elder so can not use great weapons or armour,,, i have full hermitaur blademaster and full rathian gunner

ok thanks any reccomendations for a gunlance as i have never used it however i do own average hitter . And i have used ad hoc over the ps3 but i am in the middle of moving across the globe so i cant + they would not be able to help as it is an elder quest sadly.
I also recommend using a great sword, because it's kick ass =P and you can block.
One very good way to get him in the face is when he tries running your over, dodge run after him, then start charging up facing his back/tail. He'll be screaming because thats what he usually does, so it will give you enough time to charge up completely and nail him in the face when he turns around. The scream he does after running is not the "loud" scream which makes you cover your ears, so you should have no problem charging up most of the time.
If its the 4 star urgent quest, you'll be fighting him in the snowy mountains. In area 8 (he will go there a lot), you can get his face stuck in the wall if you dodge at the right moment and get a free full-charge at his tail, which can be cut off.
Bring along some shock traps as well.
