How can I downgrade my psp 3004 and get a custom firmware?
So I need to downgrade my psp (now I have version 6.20) and get a custom firmware, but is that even possible with model 3004? I don't have pandora battery so I have no idea what to do.
Pandora does not work on your PSP model anyway because of an encryption present on the initial load process (IPL), which also blocks the ability to install a custom firmware to the internal memory.
however, there is a homebrew loader called the Half Byte Loader (HBL), and it works on all firmwares to date (up to 6.20) that are capable of running the Patapon 2 Demo.
it can only load small applications for now but rest assured it's being worked on every day by it's creators, and has it's own website too.
