Grand Theft Auto Soundtrack

All of us diehard Grand Theft Auto fans are almost as crazy about the Grand Theft Auto soundtracks as we are about the games. Each game has a very unique soundtrack we can enjoy as we go through the game. The best part about all the soundtracks is that they include a wide variety of different songs from different genres, yet always stick to the time period in which the storyline sets the game. In fact, long before the release of a soundtrack for the games, many players thought it would be an excellent idea, and it has proved to be such. Let us briefly discuss the soundtracks you will find in each game. We will leave when you purchase the albums, and where you purchase them from up to you, but since you know what is on the game, you know you will love the soundtracks!
Grand Theft Auto: Vice City the Soundtrack (Box Set): This official and complete collection hit stores in an international release on October 29, 2002. This box set includes a CD with track listings from all seven of the major radio stations on the game, each its own volume. You can also purchase CDs from the soundtrack box set individually. Each CD comes with an access code from Sony, which allows you to download cheat codes, and other awesome Grand Theft Auto exclusive content!

Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas Soundtrack: An 8 CD box set was released in November 2004, containing a disc by disc breakdown of the tracks played on each radio station, in a similar manner as the Grand Theft Auto Vice City Soundtrack. Grand Theft Auto 4: Though the game does not hit shelves until the end of April, here is some information on the soundtrack for the next installment that you may enjoy.
• Rockstar Games is getting in on the music download business. You will be able to download the songs from the game to your console hard drive via the mobile phone in the game. These can then be used for soundtracks on any other game which allows custom soundtracks
• 18 radio stations are set for this game, four of which have been released. Lots of new stuff in the works.
• No set release date has been announced for the soundtrack of this game, but we can gather it will be a hit like the rest.

If you were not already an expert on the Grand Theft Auto soundtracks, you certainly are now! Instead of popping in the game and hijacking cars to sift through radio stations in hopes that you will find the song you are aching to hear after reading this, why don’t you just hop on over to your favorite online music retailer, and purchase the albums?
