Grand Theft Auto PSP

With the incredible success of the Grand Theft Auto game series across multiple platforms, now you can find Grand Theft Auto for PSP. Though not all the games in the Grand Theft Auto series are available for the PlayStation Portable format, you do two options for games. As demand increases for a wider game variety in the series that ties into the convenience of the portability of the PSP, we are sure to see new additions to the family.

Also, it is under speculation that a Grand Theft Auto San Andreas Stories is under way and may make it to market soon. Nothing concrete has been provided on this statement, however. All of us Grand Theft Auto PSP fans can continue to hope, for sure. Heck, if you get the urge, send Rockstar a message to request that the game be implemented… If they see the demand they have in the market, they will be more likely to act fast… but, knowing what a hit San Andreas was anyway should be enough inclination that they need to get a move on it!

Grand Theft Auto Liberty City Stories: This game was released for PSP in 2005. Some of the same characters you see in GTA III, which also takes place in Liberty City (built to closely resemble New York City and New Jersey) make appearances throughout this title. Grand Theft Auto Liberty City Stories takes place three years prior to the events of Grand Theft Auto III, which take place in 1998. The game’s setting in 1995, lets you see the evolution of Liberty City.

Grand Theft Auto Vice City Stories: This game was released for PSP in 2006. Featuring a completely new line of characters, and yet another action packed storyline, Vice City Stories is set in 1984, two years prior to the time that Grand Theft Auto: Vice City takes pace. If you are a diehard fan, take some time after playing both Vice City Stories and Vice City, to see what correlations you can find, and if there are places in the storyline where the charter sets could theoretically cross, for another installment.

Though you do not have the variety and options of the other platforms, you cannot expect to have that long anyway; as each game is released on a new set of platforms to stimulate system upgrades and sales. Every element of these games, from storyline to correlation with their other Grand Theft Auto counterparts are certainly excellent additions to the Grand Theft Auto family! And, if you do not have a PSP but are interested in trying these games out, they have both been ported over to the PS2. The only differences between the PSP and PS2 versions of the game are that multi-player mode is disabled on the PlayStation 2 console. You can expect these to be the last games for PS2, as the next installment of the Grand Theft Auto series; Grand Theft Auto 4 will hit shelves on April 29, 2008 for the PS3 and Xbox 360 only. These games will certainly fix your craving for Grand Theft Auto on the go!
