Grand Theft Auto for the Xbox

Several of the games and grand theft auto videogame series were released on the Xbox gaming platform for Microsoft. Many of the game releases were never actually originally for the Xbox but after a wonderful response on other gaming platforms they were released for the Xbox.
The game titles include grand theft auto San Andreas, Grand theft auto vice city, and the newest release grand theft auto for the Xbox 360.the very first games to make their debut on the Xbox gaming platform were released as a double feature including grand theft auto three and grand theft auto vice city.
Grand Theft Auto Double Pack made its release on November 4, 2003. It included the games Grand Theft Auto III, and Grand Theft Auto Vice City. The success of this double game pack is what probably ultimately led to the release of other Grand Theft Auto games on Xbox platform. Opening the Grand Theft Auto game series up on another platform increased money for Rockstar, and led to an extensive growth in the Grand Theft Auto fan base.
Grand Theft Auto San Andreas debuted on the Xbox platform on June 5, 2005. Though the game received much scrutiny from groups opposing video use; it quickly became one of the best-selling video games of all time. This is the first game in the series that had a release for the Xbox planned in the initial releases. Nearly three years have passed since the last Grand Theft Auto game release for the X-box platform. Microsoft has since retired the release of any game on the traditional Xbox platform, in hopes to increase sales of the 360 unit; and, technology increases lead to the 360 becoming a preferred console to the original.
Grand Theft Auto IV will mark the fifth title in Grand Theft Auto game series. It is due for release on the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 on April 29, 2008. Much speculation and extreme interest is in this game, as many are looking forward to what the newest installment in the game series has to offer.
You can count on the Xbox versions being nearly exact replicas of the other versions of the other platforms. Game play and plot are the exact same regardless of the platform; the only differences exist in basic game controls and how the character moves. The same cheats are offered for the game regardless of platform, but of course the codes themselves are different, though they are meant to accomplish the same actions.
